Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria and otherwise referred to as BBNaija or BBN, is a Nigerian reality tv show based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which participants stays in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize worth more than N60,000,000 and other material gifts, at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted from the house by viewers.
This much-rated reality TV show has given birth to some now-famous stars such as Africa Magic’s Tinsel actor, Gideon Okeke, TV personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Mercy Eke, and talented singer, Laycon.
This reality show is rated the best show in the whole of Africa and it has existed for 16-years and has been conducted five times in the last sixteen years and this year will make it the sixth time, with the data first show (2006) second show (2017) third show (2018) fourth show (2019) fifth show (2020). Thus it has gathered lots of fans and stars.

Big Brother Naija 2021 Application Requirements
- You must be a Nigerian citizen,non-Nigerian citizens cannot participate in the show.
- Big Brother Naija age limit – You must be between the age of 21 and 35
- You must have a valid International Passport, this will serve as a valid means of identification
- You must be Emotionally & Mentally Stable to handle the heat of the show for a period of 90 days without contact with the outside world
- You must be educated with a minimum of O’level qualifications i.e WAEC, GCE & NECO. It’s not compulsory to have a higher degree like a university, polytechnic, or college of education certificate
